Two of the most common insurance policies you are likely to encounter are public and employers’ liability insurance. Gaining in-depth familiarity with both terms is vital, but in a nutshell public liability insurance covers you from a member of the public should they be injured in an accident and your business is found to be liable.

In the other case, employers’ liability insurance protects you from claims originating from people you may employ. For example, if a decorator is injured while working in your property, your policy will cover costs of legal proceedings and if the claimant is successful, damages awarded and the cost of prosecution.
